For therapists working with school-age children who require a robust, effective tool to assess graphomotor and fine motor skills specific to a school environment. This digital membership includes the Fine Motor Assessment, the Keyboarding Assessment, and the Quick Legibility Measure (QLM). Schoodles digital membership tools provide immediate access to materials!
The Schoodles Fine Motor Assessment is a performance-based, criterion-referenced tool used to evaluate the fine motor skills of children ages 4 and up. It uses real-world classroom tasks like handwriting, coloring, and cutting to assess skills related to school success, as well as supporting underlying abilities like core strength and eye-hand coordination. It’s designed to identify educational needs and help create individualized goals.
The Schoodles Keyboarding Assessment analyzes performance-based fine motor skills, gross motor skills that contribute to success, and keyboarding skills. It is a decision-making tool for therapists.
The Schoodles Quick Legibility Measure evaluates factors that impact handwriting readability. Using handwriting samples, the QLM rubric, and teacher insights, therapists, educators, and parents can monitor and measurably track progress.
All materials are provided in Google, Word, or PDF format.
A 90-minute CE Schoodles webinar, a 60-minute AOTA-approved OT School House CE Webinar, and a 20% discount on the Legibility Program and the Pre-K are included in this membership.
It takes 30-45 minutes to complete the SFMA, 20-25 minutes to complete the keyboarding assessment, and 10-15 minutes to complete the QLM. Create a useful, well-rounded, and easily explainable picture of a student’s fine motor abilities with these tools.
Lifetime access to all materials, updates, and additions. District-owned memberships can be transferred in the event of a resignation and subsequent hiring of a new employee. One membership per user. See the Terms of Use statement for more information.
